This past week we concluded our first 40 days of prayer and fasting for the San Francisco Project and this new church plant! It was a major success! Thank you to everyone who participated (nearly 60 people)! Because of your faithfulness and diligence we’ve seen God open some amazing doors with people in the city. We’ve met people who have introduced us to others, who have opened the door to more and more relationships all throughout the city. So, thank you so much for working alongside us to make this happen.

Also, because of this time of prayer and fasting we’ve seen God begin to make and create new fundraising opportunities for us and our hope is that in the near future we’ll see the fruit of these new connections as we take more steps to being fully funded! Thank you all so much for joining with us to make this new plant possible, we truly couldn’t do it without you!

We’re extremely excited for what God has in store for 2009 and are extremely thankful for your support as we prepare to launch a new church in San Francisco that will help people find their way back to God!

We’ve reached the half way point of our 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting and already we’ve been tremendously overwhelmed with how many people have come along side of us to support this new church plant in San Francisco! We have enjoyed receiving your notes of encouragement, and some of the revelations that God has shown you as well as the new connections you’ve been passing our way and the new people we’ve met along the way. I’m certain much of the momentum we’ve gained over the past 3 weeks is because of you and your support from afar! Thank you so much for your continued encouragement, prayers, love and support.

We still have 2 days that we’re trying to fill, December 24th and January 1st. If anyone is willing to take one of those days please let us know. We’re ecstatic with what God is doing and continues to do and look forward to many more amazing things along the way!

We have finally arrived in San Francisco and are on the ground working to make connections, get an apartment all set up and do some of the day to day chores of relocating across country! So, far God has been very good and we are adjusting in seeming record pace. I (Aaron) have already preached at a church here in town (The Journey) and am continuing to see God do some amazing things extremely quickly.

We’ll be working hard over the course of the next month to continue our fundraising efforts and hopefully surpass the 50% mark. We’ll also be working to start up our first small group and cast the vision for what this new church in San Francisco can and will look like! Keep praying for us, it’s working!
